Hi! 👋🏻 I'm Maskimora, a multimedia artist and storyteller. In my daily work, I use traditional media, Blender, Godot, Inkscape, Krita, Linux, and many other libre applications. I occasionally write microfiction or draw little animations and comics for fun. If you would like to check those out as they appear, you can follow me on Mastodon.

For me, good animation is the endboss of visual entertainment and I'd love to create a full movie at some point. For now, I'm still stuck practicing walk cycles. I sing and play a lot with my Kazoo (plus guitars and groovebox). Once I find a good distributor, I will publish some of my songs. If you have a recommendation for a good European distributor, let me know through Mastodon or e-mail (links at the bottom).

Despite being an art profile website, this place is intended to be accessible and responsive — let me know if you find something where your screen reader is struggling, where alt texts are not good enough, or if something else is off that you would like fixed. The pictures I show here are not full-resolution and never will be. Most things I make are or will be published with high-quality resolution intended for print or large screens. If you would like to support me, you could buy my products (books through your usual bookstore and games through Steam once available).

Books

I'm writing books to accompany my games. Currently, I'm working on a story book about balls. I wrote one full-length novel when I was 14 years old — unfortunately, that one was saved on a floppy disk and is now lost to time (very fitting, since it was called "Gate of Time").

My first published book is Mal einfach offline. It's a colouring book featuring 50 mandalas (printed on one side so you can fully enjoy each mandala without having your colours leak through the back of the page) and a quick starter guide in German on how to make your own Mandalas using Krita. It is printed on high quality paper and best enjoyed with some of your favourite music and coloured pencils. You should be able to order it in your favourite bookstore using the ISBN 978-3-99181-742-0.

Games

It's an excellent way of life to delete what you think is not good (anymore?) and make your mind ready for something new. So I scrapped everything and am starting my career from scratch again. In this new life, I am a game developer working on a game about… balls. Updates will appear here as well as on Mastodon.
